It's a hard thing ... ... I have D. quartzicola, D. amazonica, D. viridis,
D. grantsaui, D. camporupestris, D. communis, D. tentaculata and some other
drosera, heliamphora e utricularia. You need more old reports.

I found the plants you mentionned on the net....and I've found the capillaris description and botanical drawing (not very precise) on a site from the meso-american herbarium, but it was hard to make it out.

I'm still looking for d.cayennensis drawings....problem is that all my books are in europe, maybe I could find it in the Diel's

concerning botanical drawings : I hope that someone will send me an exemplary of the stuff I need....I posted messages "all around the world" concerning my demand, but had no answers until yet...

it's a great problem to find the documents I need....I'm asking myself how the scientists and other specialists of carnivorous plants do their work ?
it seem that documentary sources do exist, but are unreachable for a "non"- scientist

hum....as soon as possible ! the trouble is that I have to have a good reason to explore the southern part of french Guyana : you must know that it is forbidden to anybody to visit or to go to this part of our country....it's a protected area, and only people with very serious reasons can obtain a permit

well....that's why I have to proove first that I'm a serious guy, and if I produce some interresting documents (via my internet site, for example) , maybe I'll receive authorisations from the french administration to go to this part of the country....

another problem is : how to penetrate far into the forest ? there are no roads, and to explore the country, you have to deal with helicopters , or with boats....
I was two times in the southern part of fr.guyana, on an Inselberg, the Nourague mountain, where a scientific station from the CNRS is located, but it was for my work : I'm an electrician, and I was there to solve some troubles they had with their energy production (they have a micro turbine to produce the electricity they need...)

but i'm positive : one day, it will be my day !!!

Well you have to find a way to return to these inselbergs with more time to explore! ;)
