hi Carlos, i dont know if this word mean that it's the plant's location....I searched on the web and I find out that : mandratai is a word in lituanian language mandratai is also used in tamil language....but the traduction gives me "mandratai" : it's not very usefull... I also found out that mandatrai is sometimes a misspelling of "mandatari" , wich designes a persons who acts like an agent, for a transaction for example...but also this solution is not very usefull.... the trouble is that I received seeds from brazil with this name...and after looking on the web, this plant is only known and cultivated with this name in your country.... I dont know what's about this plant.... |

Hi folks, this is problably a plant originated from seeds of Tramandaí, a city of the brazilian's litoral, in Rio Grande do Sul. I sent some seeds to friends of mine as D. capillaris (Tramandaí) or D. capillaris (Nova Tramandaí). Someone probably got confused when writing the name of the plant and wrote it wrong. PS: Espero que isso tire sua dúvida Rodrigo, acabei não conseguindo te enviar a PM. |
