Hi all,

I have some questions about keeping South America Drosera species. Can you tell me what the best method is. My main problem is that the humidity stays at 95-100%. Any and all tips are welcome. Here are some pics of my setup

Hi Tom,

in my opinion (I'm not a expert) these two in the center is OK, but the others have little light.
The covers are made of that material? If it will be very thick can diminish the light still more.
Who could help very is the Daniel O., in CPUK. He have great terrariuns.

Regards.

Carlos.

Hi!

I also have little experience with native drosera. Big part of brazilian cpers grow plants outside without equipment.

I agree with Carlos that you have low light in the corner pots. Keeping humidity that level can help mold to appear, as you said.

Do not do what I say, just consider: I would install two lamps like those, one beside other. This way the four pots would get equal light. Just an observation.

Good luck

Wow.. you have post another picture just while I was writing previous message.

I have no doubts that this new set is really better. Not sure if best, but really really good.

Just keep paying attention on humidity, keep an eye on mold.

God luck!
