Hi, Jeff! Welcome to our forum! Sorry, I don't know these species by name (trigger plant, dorstenia, philcoxia and paepalanthus)... By the way, do you have some pics of them? They can be common just here, but I don't know if I ever seen them (I'm not a biologist)... If you could, post images... Regards!

Hi Jeff, Bonjour! Nice to see you here. I was with Marcelo when he took this picture. He showed me a nice population of this species growing on humid ground under shade. They form really beautiful leaves. I tried to keep some rhizomes alive but they insisted on dying. I will now try to start it form seed. I don´t know if the confusion about Philcoxia classification still occurs. It was first placed in Scrophullariaceae family, but then transferred to Plantaginaceae. It seems to be greatly related to the Lents and probably they have some carnivourous or pseudo-carnivorous behavior. Quite interesting. Also and Still interested in it too. Nice Heli list! Regards, Nilber

Hello Jeff, Now the link is working for me, Thanks. I only asked about the sure of the carnivory because our friend Fernando R. only told me that exist this possibility and sent me the same Document that you showed us. You know, in the Botany the people could have many diferent opinions about the same thing. I asked because maybe you have some news for us. Sorry if I was rude. It wasn't my intention. Kind regards, Vitor B.
