Título: | My Pinguicula wall |
As it is quite finished, some small details appart, ts, here is a picture ofmy Pinguicula wall where I'm growing all my temperate calcicole Pinguicula: ![]() It is facing north. A pump, powered by a small solar panel, ensures that wtaer is always dripping on this wall from early march to late october (I switch it off during the freezing period). It can host many species in its 103 bowes. Below are my terrestrial Orchids that take advantages of the humidity provided by the wall. After more than one year of cultivation on this wall, all the Pinguicula are feeling better than ever compared to my old method(s) of cultivation and it is the best way I am growing some difficult species like Pingucula alpina. Here are pictures of P. reichenbachiana from Zuccarello, the first ping I put to grow on that wall: http://www.forum.clickgratis.com.br/vie ... ivor#95347 In extra, a photo of my mexican pings growing with a simplier method: ![]() Regards Aymeric |

No caso Bruno, mexicanas ele se referiu ao habitat das plantas. São espécies das pinguiculas mexicanas. Acho que o hase quer saber onde ele comprou as plantas, de onde vieram. Anyway, I coudn't realize by the photo how do the wall works. The water comes for the plants from above? and the escess water doesn't drop to the vases bellow, does it? I didn't catch how the water system work =P |

Thank you all ![]() hase170 escreveu: Beautiful Pinguiculas? Where do you find them there, on France? I got most of them by exchanges, and a few ones I bought. Bruno Millan escreveu: Ele tá falando em cima da foto que são mexicanas. Not really. Those on the wall are temperate Pinguicula from all other Europe. André Fabri escreveu: Anyway, I coudn't realize by the photo how do the wall works. The water comes for the plants from above? and the escess water doesn't drop to the vases bellow, does it? I didn't catch how the water system work =P Yes, the pump lift ip the water just over the plants. The water drips from those orange things you can see in the post about Pinguicula reichenbachiana (microdrip system), then fills the vases. The excess water flows from the vase to the ones below, and then to the bucket where the pump is. Regards Aymeric |
